Project context

The Tabaski is the most important holiday in Senegal, people sacrifice a lamb and spend the day together with family and neighbors, eating and sharing grilled meat.

Unfortunately, many families can’t afford the everyday expenses and are excluded from this festivity, which serves as an important social link.

About the project

Our meat distribution program aims to offer these needy people the opportunity to celebrate the Tabaski in dignity with their families.

The program is carried out thanks to the cooperation of all the NGOs that are part of Alfityanu Humanitarian International network in several countries: France, United States, England, Spain and Luxembourg.

This campaign settles its action according to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) defined by the United Nations:

SDG 1: End poverty
SDG 2: Zero hunger
SDG 10: Reduced inequalities
SDG 17: Partnerships for the implementation of the goals
